About NovaStudio 8.7

I built NovaStudio 8.7 out of personal frustration. As someone who loves making and recording music, I searched for a simple, portable multi-track recorder that worked on the devices I already owned - phone, laptop, or desktop - and struggled to find anything that fully met my requirements. A physical classic four-track device captures ideas instantly, but modern tools sometimes feel too complex, or too far from that hands-on "press record and layer" flow.

There is nothing to download or install - NovaStudio runs entirely in your web browser, so you can start recording on any device without waiting for an app to install.

So I decided to build the tool I wanted. NovaStudio 8.7 keeps everything local: your recordings are stored in a workspace folder you choose, or in your browser's IndexedDB storage on devices where a folder picker is not available. Everything is processed entirely in the browser. The goal is to recreate the speed and simplicity of those old multitrack machines while giving you the convenience of a modern web app - so you can capture an idea, stack a few parts, and export a mix without ever leaving your device.
